Jenny and Johnny

Jenny and Johnny

Introduced by Conor Oberst (as the best couples always are) Jenny Lewis takes a break from Rilo Kiley and her own solo career to team up with solo troubadour Johnathon Rice with whom she’d previously toured with and recorded an album also featuring Elvis Costello with.

Everyone loves Jenny Lewis, it’s hard not to. Everything with Rilo Kiley has been brilliant and Rabbit Fur Coat was a masterpiece and then of course there’s the Postal Service. What’s not to love?

The track i’m featuring here is scissor rider, which features gorgeous back and forth vocals between the two and the grooving 50s musical stylings that Lewis is such a fan of.

  1. I love that album cover (photo ?) for J&J. There’s so much space. Well, the songs not bad either…
